A week of Googling, done overnight
Building a lead list meant days of copy-paste from websites. We built a tool that does it overnight and flags what it isn't sure about.
The problem
Building a lead or vendor list meant one person visiting site after site. They copied names, phones, and emails into a spreadsheet by hand.
The existing process
Search. Open a site. Find the contact page. Copy a few things. Paste. Repeat. A good list took days, and it was old by the time it was done.
Why it mattered
It was slow, costly hand work. A bigger list just meant more days. And copy-paste slipped typos into every batch.
What we did
We built a tool that gathers and cleans the info on its own. It drops duplicates and makes one clean spreadsheet. It flags anything it wasn't sure about, so a person only checks those rows.
The result
A list that took days now runs on its own. It comes out clean, with no duplicates, and a person only checks the flagged rows.
What happened next
They asked us to run it every month on its own, so the list stays fresh instead of going stale.
