We help companies find and eliminate wasted time
WL Solutions is an external business-improvement resource. We find the wasted time, broken processes, repetitive work, and system gaps, then help fix them. So you get more from the people and systems you already have.
Fix what bugs you
Small, repetitive problems create enormous cumulative waste. Most businesses learn to tolerate them. We don't. We look for the annoying, overlooked work everyone has stopped noticing, and we actually implement the fix.
Sometimes the fix is a custom tool or automation. Just as often it's a process change, better use of software you own, a little training, or removing a step. We use the simplest fix that works, never technology for its own sake.
The gap nobody else quite fills
- Too operational for a typical software developer
- Too technical for a typical process-improvement firm
- Too small for a major enterprise transformation project
- Too expensive to keep ignoring
We can still do work inside all of those adjacent categories. They just don't define us.
We target those searches. We don't lead with them.
Searched for AI, automation, ERP, or Lean help and found us? Good. Once you're here, we start with your problem, then decide if that's even the right tool. We are not primarily:
We recommend the right solution, even when it isn't us
If a $25,000 product solves your problem better than a $100,000 custom build, we'll tell you to buy the product. We'd rather earn a long relationship than maximize one invoice.
You own your work
Your data, configuration, and deliverables are yours. We reuse only generalized methods and components, never your confidential information.
No gatekeeping
If you have the ability and motivation to implement something yourself, we'll hand you the resources. You hire us for execution, speed, and experience.
Honest scope
Some work needs a qualified owner on your side: safety-critical, licensed engineering, regulated compliance. We're clear about where our lane ends.
Why trust us with your business systems?
Fair question. Here is plainly how we handle your data, your systems, and the edges of our lane.
Will you rip out and replace our ERP or existing software?
No. When it's practical, we build around the systems you already run:
- We integrate with your ERP and current tools rather than replacing them.
- Rip-and-replace is costly and disruptive, so we only suggest it when the current setup genuinely can't get you there.
Are you going to push AI into everything?
No. AI is one tool among many, and often not the right one:
- Sometimes the fix is a process change, better use of software you own, a little training, or removing a step.
- We use AI where it genuinely helps and leave it out where it doesn't.
Who owns the data and the tools you build for us?
You do. Everything specific to your business is yours:
- Your data stays your data.
- Your configuration, tools, and deliverables belong to you.
- We reuse only generalized methods and components, never your confidential information.
How do you decide between building custom and buying a product?
We follow the best economic solution, not the biggest invoice:
- If a product you can buy solves it better and cheaper, we tell you to buy it.
- If a custom build wins on cost and fit, we build it.
- Build versus buy is a math question, and we do the math in your favor.
What about regulated, legal, or safety-critical work?
We stay in our lane:
- Where work touches licensed engineering, regulated compliance, or safety-critical decisions, we won't take on responsibility that belongs to a qualified party on your side.
- We're glad to support that responsible person. We won't pretend to replace them.
Can what you build run on our systems, or only on yours?
Either works. You choose where it lives:
- Client-hosted: it runs on your own infrastructure and accounts.
- WL-hosted: we host and run it for you.
- We walk through the trade-offs so you can pick what fits your team.
DFW plus North, Central, and East Texas
We're based in Texas and work within about a three-hour drive of Dallas and Fort Worth, well beyond the metro into North, Central, and East Texas. Manufacturing is our strongest vertical, but we're open to any small business with inefficiency to remove.
Got something that bugs you?
Tell us the problem that's eating your time. Email us and we'll tell you straight if it's worth fixing, and point you to the best next step, us or not.
