A customer login that stopped the ‘any update?’ emails
Customers called all day asking where their orders stood. We gave them a login that shows the live answer.
The problem
Customers had no way to see their own order status. So they called and emailed all day, and staff stopped their work to look it up.
The existing process
A customer asked. Someone opened the system, found the job, and typed back an answer. Dozens of times a day. Same question, different customer.
Why it mattered
It ate hours of staff time. It made the company look slow. And every answer was a snapshot that was already old by the time it was sent.
What we did
We built a simple, safe login page that pulls straight from their system. Each customer logs in and sees only their own live status. No extra spreadsheet. No double typing.
The result
The ‘any update?’ questions mostly stopped. Customers check for themselves. Staff stay on real work. Everyone sees the same live info.
What happened next
With the login live, they added file downloads so customers could grab their own paperwork instead of asking for it.
